Fulfilling the desires
Of one’s need to be remembered
Comes at a cost;
Typically, of ones sanity.
Unless, of course,
The person in need of this kind of fulfillment
Is of the arrogant sort.
I’ve met people like that,
All mouth and action,
But lacking of principle, curiosity,
Or what some may call fiber.
But for those who think, think, think
There’s little point to this kind of boasting.
Because we know,
If we were the asses we resent,
We could fool everyone but ourselves.
